Ever wonder what it’s actually like to try this shit—behind the scenes, no photoshop, no omissions, no unicorns? Yah, us too. We are tired of feeling inadequate. So we are going to spend a year trying to do the crazy shit that has been infiltrating our life via viral media. Every month, we’ll take on an inspirational idea or lifestyle change we found via Facebook, Netflix, Pinterest, Twitter, or a blog.
In science, there is this great idea called a replication study. It’s the idea that you can’t claim something is true unless someone else can do the exact same thing and get the exact same results. If they can’t replicate it, the scientific community gets to call B.S. on your experiment or at least say it was deeply flawed. Why doesn’t the same thing exist for the rest of life?
Consider this blog one giant replication study for all those posts, podcasts, and viral videos that have been making you feel terrible about your life. Get ready. It’s going to be…well it’s probably going to be a shit show. But it’s bound to make all of us feel better about ourselves for not having done this crap. Or it will at least be amusing for all of you to watch us self-destruct.
